The Party

Since River turned one, he is clearly not a baby anymore. He won't touch anything remotely resembling baby food, has to walk everywhere, and will not sleep anywhere but in his bed by himself. He is such a funny boy...and so grown up all of the sudden!



We had the Birthday Party about a week ago, and it was A LOT of fun. The kids all had a great time, and even though I don't think either one of the birthday babies knew quite what all the fuss was about, they sure enjoyed their cupcake and company. My Mom was out for the celebration, so it was extra special for the kids! There was, of course, a Birthday craft area, and the kids made necklaces and colored cake pictures. Some of the kids got really into it, and that made me so happy! I am grateful beyond measure for all the wonderful people that we are surrounded by up here, and even more grateful that they love us and our children. Thanks Friends!
