Green Tennies just because..

She is 100% in "big girl" panties, and I am thrilled. Daddy just had to go away for a week to allow for a breakthrough. He was the enabler....
She liked these tennies from WalMart, and who doesn't need green tennies, right?!

Mr. Cutie Pie loves taking baths now, and will splash with reckless abandon. He and Paige do bath time together now which is a lot of fun...

Paige is getting her last molar, and it is taking it's sweet time on making an appearance.

River loves hanging with his sis; for him, there is nothing better!

He isn't crawling yet, but he's close. When he gets frustrated he just flops around like a swimmer doing the butterfly stroke. I really am in no rush for this milestone to be passed by...I like that he can't run away from me yet!

Have a great weekend everyone...Justin will be home tomorrow....he's been in Florida all week doing some training for parachute landings in the ocean. He got messed with pretty bad, so he is looking forward to a quiet weekend with his biggest fans.

Get out the SPF 70

We had two days in the 70's this week, so of course we made the most of it....laying out(with SPF 70...we are reflective, we are so white!), pool time, picnics and Popsicles! Yesterday it snowed..... have I mentioned how much I dislike the weather up here...???

This was my shirt when I was little...I love seeing my kids wear it!

Mt. Si Relay and Ultra Run

Most of you already know, but Justin participated in a 50 mile ultra run on Sunday, and finished in 10 hours and 51 minutes. I still can't wrap my head around all this, but I am so proud (and confused) by his accomplishments. He informed me this morning that if his feet aren't fractured he is still going through with the 100 mile race he has planned for August. I am not supportive of this decision, just because I think it is too much for his body right now, but ultimately only broken feet will stop him. We did not come out to the race with him because it was 4 hours away, and the kids and I are sick, but here are some photos posted in the gallery from the race. He is an animal!

Fast Cars and Parachutes

Well, maybe not too fast since they are only foot powered! Paige was lucky enough to get two cars hand-me-downed to her this last week. She LOVES them, and wants nothing more than to sit in them and watch the birds. The Barbie JEEP will have a battery soon enough, but right now Paige doesn't even know her car can and will be cooler than anything she has ever seen...she's gonna flip once it can "go"!

Justin has been jumping since November, but yesterday was the first time I went out to observe this wreck less, but ultra-manly behavior. They jump out of helicopters on Mondays usually, so I packed up the kids and headed out to catch the action. On my way out to the Survival side of base, I saw a jumper kind of spiraling out of control.....just a mental note, that made me very sick to my stomach! I watched two more jumps, and then headed home. Later I found out that the " out of control" guy was in fact Justin. He had a twist in his lines and was kicking to straiten them out. I am never going to watch him jump again I fear. It is just a little too stressful watching your hubby jump out of a perfectly good airplane!
